Our Gallery Print illustrates a view of our National Gallery from the perspective of Major's Hill. The famous three-tiered glass-cupola, designed by Israeli-Canadian architect Moshe Safdie, can bee seen above Major's Hill ledge, a popular skate spot near the museum. We also chose to include tulips, light posts and clouds in the sky.
The print itself is white foil on colour cardstock. Foil printing is a unique style that allows for high contrast, crisp lines, however also shows a subtle amount of texture adding character to the piece. It's also designed and in printed right here in Ottawa.
We donate $5 from the sale of each one of our Gallery Prints to the Ottawa Skateboard Association.
