Our Covered Bridge Print is part of our "Summer Spots" line and features a view of the covered bridge found in Wakefield, QC. The covered bridge was originally built in 1915, but was destroyed by fire in 1984. The citizens nearby collected funds to have the bridge rebuilt and in 1998 the newly rebuilt bridge was reopened to the public.
The print itself is white foil on colour cardstock. Foil printing is a unique style that allows for high contrast, crisp lines, however also shows a subtle amount of texture adding character to the piece. It's also designed and in printed right here in Ottawa.
We donate $5 from the sale of each one of our Covered Bridge Print to the Friends of the Gatineau River.
